Zensa Numbing Cream Overview
I’m happy to share my take on my go-to brand for numbing: Zensa cream!
Zensa numbing cream is a fast-acting, max pain relief, topical anesthetic containing 5% lidocaine. It is used for microblading, permanent makeup procedures, waxing, tattooing, injections, and more.
This topical cream can last 2-3 hours, and can also be applied to broken skin without affecting the settling of pigment. It’s also vegan, steroid-free, and FDA approved.
How Is It Used?
After cleaning the desired area of skin with an alcohol swab, apply a thick layer of the numbing cream. Be sure not to rub it in. Covering the cream with air-tight wrap will help the absorption; for microblading procedures, the cream is generally left on for 15-20 minutes (or longer if desired).
Highlights for this product include:
- Fast absorption
- Maximum pain relief
- Vegan, steroid-free
- Lasts 2-3 hours
- Can be applied to broken skin
- Does not change skin texture
- Does not constrict blood vessels
- Does not affect colour retention
I’ve come across Zensa on a few different sites. However, the two that stood out to me were the Zensa product website, and good old Amazon.
- If you order directly from Zensa, the price of the cream at this time is $69.00. Free one-day shipping for US and Canada is available.
- If you order on Amazon (from their seller brand, Zensa), the cost right now is only $37.99. And if you’re a Prime member, you also get free one-day shipping.
This comparison goes to show how important it is to shop around. I have not come across a cheaper place than Amazon to purchase Zensa; but if you have, leave a comment down below!
As mentioned above, Zensa is (thankfully) vegan and cruelty-free. It’s also hypoallergenic, and steroid-free.
It’s very important to me that my clients are receiving the best of the best when it comes to products that I use during procedure. Using quality supplies is my top priority, for the client to see the best results possible!
Beautiful Brows Don’t Have To Be A Pain
I have been using Zensa as long as I’ve been microblading, and I love the results.
I’ve even had clients so relaxed during their microblading appointment, that they’ve almost fallen asleep!
It’s only during extra long procedures when I need to reapply the cream for the comfort of my client. But once I do, the procedure continues as smoothly as ever.
My recommendation is to give Zensa Numbing Cream a try if you haven’t.
If you are a user of Zensa, let me know in the comments – how long have you been using this brand? Does it work well for you? What procedures do you enjoy using it for?
